SPEAKERS

Giorgos Floridis PhD
Collaborating Professor at the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT), with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Brunel University London. Chartered Engineer and member of the IMechE/IET, with over 130 peer-reviewed publications; regarded as a pioneer of geothermal energy in Cyprus. He also works on life-size scientific reconstructions of prehistoric animals.

Stavros Hatzopoulos PhD
Professor at the University of Ferrara (Department of Neurosciences), with a background in Biomedical Engineering and specialization in Hearing Science and Audiology. He has been engaged with UFOs since the early 1970s; a founding member of PEEAF (1975) and a member of international groups (CISU, EuroUFO.net, UAPcheck, SUAPS), with a paranormal-approach model based on the work of Jacques Vallée.

Apostolis Cheirdaris
Researcher of the Unexplained since the late 1990s. He founded Paranormal.gr (2005) and later Mindhack.gr, while since 2016 he has been active on YouTube through the channel Weirdo. His digital community exceeds 270,000 followers. He has participated in short-story collections and authored the digital book "The Last God."

Thanasis Vembos
Journalist, author, and translator (b. 1963). Since 1982 he has written approximately a thousand articles on the paranormal, the unknown, and the space sciences. He has published 19 books (15 non-fiction, 4 science fiction) and has translated over 60 titles.

Ion Panidis
President of the ERENZO Association, head of GRUFON, and founder of the group "Invisible Travellers." He has been engaged with the UFO phenomenon since the late 1980s, participating in numerous field investigations across Greece. With management studies at Coventry University, he has hosted radio programmes and represented Greek research at international conferences. Over three decades of uninterrupted activity.

Stavros Papamarinopoulos PhD
Emeritus Professor of Geophysics at the University of Patras (1983–2012), with a PhD from the University of Edinburgh. He has conducted geophysical surveys at archaeological sites internationally (among other achievements, he located the canal of Xerxes) and has worked on the astronomical dating of the Homeric epics. He has over 100 publications to his name.

Giorgos Iliopoulos
Physicist (University of Athens) and professional financial advisor. He is also a highly prolific author, with 26 books (2000–2024) on ancient technology, Alexander the Great, and unexplained phenomena. His writings have been published in academic editions and in magazines such as Trito Mati and NEXUS.

Nasos Komianos
Regression therapist and hypnotherapist. He studies reports of Third- and Fourth-Kind contact experiences that emerge during hypnotic regressions, drawing on the work of researchers such as Edith Fiore, William Baldwin, and John Mack.

Eleni Dagiou
Author and UFO researcher, whose journey began with a personal experiential encounter at Kranai, Gytheio (1994). She has written widely-read books ("The Argonauts Return," among others) and was honoured with First Prize at the 2004 Cultural Olympiad. She has participated in numerous television programmes on the unexplained.

Giorgos Papageorgiou
Journalist and author, with a long career in the media. He wrote for newspapers (Dimokratia, Espresso) and for several years presented the programme "Paranormal" on Star. He is the author of "Survival Guide in the Event of Nuclear War."

Giorgos Pontikis
Independent researcher with many years of engagement in the UFO phenomenon and an active member of the ERENZO group. Through the systematic recording and analysis of reports, he seeks to contribute to the understanding and interpretation of the phenomenon.

Tickets & Entry
Tickets are available exclusively through the more.com platform. Each ticket is valid only for this specific conference and date (20 September 2026) and is personal to the holder. Entry is validated by presenting the voucher (printed or on your phone) at the venue entrance. Attendees are advised to arrive shortly before the start (09:00) to allow for a smooth entry check. Entry does not guarantee a specific seat; seating is on a first-come, first-served basis upon arrival.
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations with a full refund are accepted up to seven (7) days before the conference date. After this deadline, and in the event of non-attendance (no-show), no refund will be provided. In the event of definitive cancellation of the conference for which the organiser is responsible, the full ticket price will be refunded.
Programme
The organiser reserves the right to make changes to the programme, the order of presentations, and the speakers, should the need arise. Any material changes will be announced in good time on the event's website
