Karlovasi, Samos 24/9/2025
DATE: September 2, 1990
AREA: Greater Atalanti area
FACT: UFO crash
There is another testimony from the Atalanti region.
Early Monday morning (at 4:00 a.m.), shortly after the UFOs had left, 8 people who were fishing in 2 boats in northern Euboea, specifically 1.5 miles from the coast of the village of Chronia in Evia, i.e. opposite Atalanti, witnessed a luminous object.
As Ms. T. Panagopoulou told the writer, "at some point a light came on out of nowhere, over the hills, towards the village of Chronia. It came on from the inside outward. It emitted an intense whitish light. It was ellipsoidal in shape and the size (from the distance we were, about 2 miles) of a light bulb like those found on the pillars of avenues. Comparing it to the planes that passed by at intervals and seemed very small, this one must have been very large. It remained motionless for 10 minutes and was completely silent. As it came on, it went out, but this time from the outside inward, and disappeared. It made a terrible impression on us, because we had never seen anything like it. The next day we read in the newspapers about the incident in Atalanti, which took place very close to us, at about the same time."
