Karlovasi, Samos 24/9/2025
An impressive report from the eastern Aegean region and specifically from the island of Samos reached ERENZO/GRUFON and was investigated by the team's competent personnel. According to the testimony, on September 24, 2025, the retired G.K. (his details are at the disposal of ERENZO), was on the balcony of his daughter's house in Karlovasi, Samos when suddenly a strange event took place before his eyes that would affect him and
scared beyond imagination. A few months earlier his daughter had given birth to her baby and G.K. was in Samos at that time to offer his help. The time was 4am and G.K. was on the balcony of the 3rd floor where he was drinking a coffee and smoking a cigarette. The house facing the sea is located 30-40 meters away
from the coast. The weather conditions were very good, there was a breeze in the evening, and the sky was very clear so that he could observe in the distance the lights of the Turkish coast that were in a straight line with the balcony. It was dark, there was no
moon, when he noticed a shooting star falling diagonally into the sea. It was the first time he had seen a shooting star in Karlovasi.

His surprise, however, would grow even greater when a few moments later he noticed that the light, just before it came into contact with the sea, stopped, and moved rapidly horizontally in the direction of G.K., reaching a distance of about 50 to 100 meters, emitting an incredible white glow that illuminated a large area of Samos. Within the white glow, he managed to distinguish a smaller red or pink light. He remained still for a few seconds and within the glow he was able to see "something" like wings (note: due to the intense glow, he could not distinguish the shape of the object. Therefore, something like airplane wings probably leads to a disc-shaped shape). The glow lasted about 8-10 seconds. He was terrified, instinctively bent down, and retreated towards the balcony door to enter the house.
Bending down, he continued to watch it because the balcony has a protective glass on the railing, and so he did not lose sight of it. As soon as he turned towards the balcony door to open it and go inside, this light went out and disappeared over the horizon, into the sky at great speed. The whole incident lasted about twenty seconds.
Two points of great interest are the following:
First, during the entire incident he did not notice any noise, and second, from the beginning when it looked like a shooting star to the end when it changed course, it did not seem to leave any tail behind it. When he went back out onto the balcony he continued to observe the sky for the rest of the night but did not see anything strange.
