ERENZO Collaboration - UAP Cyprus Centre

Strengthening UAP scientific research

OR ERENZO is proceeding with a collaboration with the UAP Cyprus Centre , an independent research organization based in Cyprus, which is actively involved in the systematic and scientifically documented study of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP).

ERENZO's collaboration with the UAP Cyprus Centre is based on a common framework of values and goals, focusing on the exchange of research data and experience, the joint development of observation and analysis initiatives, as well as the promotion of transparency and scientific ethics as fundamental principles of research. At the same time, European cooperation in the field of UAP is strengthened, with the aim of forming a network of bodies that address the phenomenon with seriousness and scientific consistency.

The UAP Cyprus Centre is a voluntary, non-profit research centre dedicated to the systematic scientific investigation of (UAP) in the air and sea areas of the Republic of Cyprus and the wider Eastern Mediterranean. It was founded by researchers with the aim of collecting, analysing and publishing data through scientific procedures and cross-referencing.

President/Co-Founder:

Dr. Georgios Florides, MPhil, PhD (Mechanical Engineering)

Vice-President/Co-Founder:

Dr. Lilian Tsappa, PhD (Comparative Literature), Member MUFON

The UAP Cyprus Centre has already developed a remarkable and steadily evolving activity in the field of scientific study of UAPs with an emphasis on systematic observation and documentation. Since its establishment until today, it has formed an organized framework for the collection and evaluation of testimonies and data, with the aim of recording incidents and distinguishing them from known natural, technological or anthropogenic phenomena.

At the same time, it has proceeded to analyze visual and descriptive events originating mainly from Cyprus, examining each case based on scientific criteria and available alternative explanations before classifying it as a UAP.

It has also developed contacts and collaborations with European and international research institutions active in the same field, aligning its action with modern open science practices. In this context, it closely monitors technological developments in the field of sky observation, with the aim of gradually integrating automated recording and processing systems, which will enhance the objectivity and scientific credibility of the research.

The course of the UAP Cyprus Centre to date reflects a responsible and methodical approach, oriented towards knowledge and investigation, an element that is fully consistent with the principles and research vision of ERENZO.
