ABOUT US

The group consists of individuals who have performed some serious research work in the 4 main periods of Greek Ufology.

1967 - 1975

In the first period, the EPEAN group, coordinated by Giorgos Balanos, acted, the work and archive of which is represented by Ms. Christina Savvani.

1975 - 1980

In the second period the following teams played:

PEEAF currently represented by Akis Lorandos, Stavros Hatzopoulos, Kostas Roupakias and Dimitris Zaglis

PHAETHON represented today by Stefanos Panagiotakis and Stavros Hatzopoulos

SERIOS, represented today by Stefanos Panagiotakis.

1985 - 1992

In the third period, the SESEP team, represented today by Ionas Panidis, played.

1995 - 2025

In the fourth period, the ERENZO team, represented by Nikos Apostolopoulos and Orestis Lazanakis, is active.

The mission

Grufon.org was created with the ultimate goal of approaching the UFO/UAP phenomenon with investigative seriousness, transparency and respect for the truth.

We do not automatically adopt any information, rumor, or theory without systematically checking it.

Our methodology is based on standards of international fact-checking organizations, such as the International Fact-Checking Network, adapted specifically to ufology.

Our goal is the most complete research, study, and presentation of these topics, giving importance to field research, which is a very common scientific tool, but also the main way of collecting primary data.

Another key action is an extensive review of the literature, which creates the foundation on which a successful field study must be based, as well as examining the research efforts of other researchers, which yields a series of benefits that it would be disastrous to ignore.
